If you are looking for a growing organization that prioritizes its employees, we encourage you to apply.** **POSITION SUMMARY:**Provide oversight and asset management support for portfolios of performing and non-performing bank assets with the objective of maximizing returns and minimizing losses within the portfolios. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Provide oversight and support for the Banks consumer loan portfolio. Daily responsibilities include monitoring and collection of monthly payments as well as monitoring real estate taxes and insurance, restructuring credit and repayment terms, working with third parties regarding foreclosure activity, bankruptcies, and repossessions, daily and monthly consumer reporting, and other general tasks. - Provide oversight and support for small loans in the Banks purchased loan portfolio with loan balances typically less than \$500,000. Daily responsibilities include restructuring credit and repayment terms, developing strategies to better secure collateral, collecting and monitoring monthly payments, as well as taxes and insurance, working with borrowers to obtain financial information and preparing written analysis on an annual or bi-annual basis with recommendations to protect and strengthen the investment. - Periodic assignments within the Community Banking portfolio or National Lending portfolio, including a review of available loan documentation, borrower, guarantor and tenant analysis, cash flow modeling and presentation of analysis. - Successfully pass technical and regulatory examinations by the Company. **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:** - Bachelors degree preferred - Preference for understanding of consumer collection law and regulations - Preference for 1 to 3 years of experience in asset management, commercial loan workout, loan underwriting and/or consumer collections. However, willing to train the right candidate in lieu of experience. - Formal bank credit training a plus - Ability to work and thrive in a team environment **PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND CONDITIONS:** - Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time. - Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20lbs. - Consistently operates a computer and other office equipment such as calculator, copy machine and printers. - Climate controlled general office setting with moderate noise level. - Must express or exchange ideas with co-workers, customers and vendors. r Northeast Bank is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
