    Job DutiesMake both in-person and remote court appearances at Workers' Compensation Appeals Boards throughout CaliforniaMake appearances at arbitrations and mediationsRepresent clients at depositions both in-person and remoteNew client intakesPrepare deposition reports, hearing reports, case updatesReview medical reportsPrepare case valuationsClient communication and correspondence, provide case updates to clients and advising on disability benefits, medical treatment, settlement, and morePerform legal research, preparation of petitions and other pleadingsPrepare letters and other correspondence to move cases forwardPrepare case strategiesSettlement negotiationsHandle all aspects of discoveryBenefitsPaid HolidaysMedical Insurance401k with 4% matchPaid Vacation and Sick DaysLaptopCar AllowanceBonusesDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offRequirementsLicensed California Attorney in good standing with no prior disciplinary recordTravel to and from Workers' Compensation Appeals Boards and offices throughout CaliforniaAble to work independently with a team of attorneys and support staffTime management: appearing on time to hearings and depositions, managing cases and prioritizing urgent tasksExcellent communication skills: effective communication with current and potential clientsAbility to analyze cases and determine and implement next steps in discovery, litigation, case closureExperience handling depositions of clients and cross-examining medical expertsAbility to manage a large caseloadAble to use technology effectively (online case management system, phone system, etc.)Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: Hybrid/remote in Anaheim, CA (Full-Time, Salaried position with bonuses - Partially Remote)#J-18808-Ljbffr
