Willatt & Flickinger, PLLC is a well-established law firm in Austin, Texas specializing in real estate matters, homeowners associations and governmental entities. We are currently interviewing candidates for an Associate Attorney position to join our legal team to serve as counsel to existing and new clients on real estate, governance and regulatory matters. A current license in good standing with the State Bar of Texas is REQUIRED. Starting annual salary is $95,000 to $110,000 with a review after six months.

Qualified applicants will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and must be able to manage their own projects to grow professionally in a creative and collaborative environment. 0-3 years of legal experience and some experience with governmental entities, homeowners associations, real estate transactions or administrative law is preferred but not required as training will be provided.


Responsibilities include representation of clients in open meetings, court, or before government agencies; preparation of transactional documents; interaction with engineers, accountants, property managers and other professional staff; research and advisement on statutes, legal standards, and regulations; and performance of administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.


This position is ideal for an attorney that is early in their career and looking to gain valuable experience working with Boards of Directors, regulatory agencies, and in court proceedings. The firm does not have minimum annual billing requirements and there is significant room for career advancement.
