This role provides an excellent opportunity for early‑career attorneys to gain hands‑on experience, develop advocacy and case‑management skills, and work collaboratively within a fast‑paced legal environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReview legal files, records, and case‑related documentationDraft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documentsConduct legal research and analyze applicable statutes, case law, and regulationsManage assigned caseload while ensuring accuracy, organization, and timely completion of workCommunicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholdersAttend hearings, mediations, and court proceedings as requiredMaintain accurate case notes, documentation, and status updates within firm systemsProvide high‑quality legal support and client service in a high‑volume environmentExercise sound judgment and contribute to effective problem‑solving and case strategyRequirementsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school0–3 years of legal experience preferredLicensed and in good standing with the applicable State BarAbility to manage and prioritize a large caseload in a deadline‑driven environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across multiple platforms, including client systems, email, and telephoneDemonstrated commitment to professionalism and exceptional client serviceStrong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skillsDetail‑oriented with the ability to work efficiently, manage competing priorities, and multitaskReliable, conscientious, and accountable with respect to work quality, attendance, and deadlinesWork LocationThis position is based in the Raleigh and/or Wilmington, North Carolina area.
