Associate Attorney – Professional Liability & Civil Litigation

As an Associate Attorney, you will support complex civil litigation matters from inception through resolution, including legal research, motion practice, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation. You will collaborate with senior attorneys while developing your own litigation skills and client management experience.
What You’ll Do
Assist with all phases of civil litigation matters from case inception through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and legal documents
Conduct legal research and prepare case analyses
Manage discovery, including document review and production
Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and witnesses
Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy
Support litigation planning and case management initiatives
What You Bring
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active California Bar admission or eligibility for admission
2–6 years of civil litigation experience (1 year of litigation experience will also be considered)
Experience with professional liability, securities, employment, or complex commercial litigation preferred
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Deposition, motion practice, and courtroom experience
Strong organization and case management abilities
Ability to manage multiple assignments while working independently and collaboratively
