Candidates should have 1–4 years of real estate or real estate development experience, with exposure to real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development transactions.Required ExperienceCommercial real estate closings, including land, industrial, office, retail, shopping center, and investment transactionsCommercial real estate leasingCommercial real estate financing and loan transactionsReal estate development, including residential, commercial, mixed‑use, condominium, marina, and planned community projectsTitle review, including independent title searches, review of paralegal title work, analysis of title matters, and development of curative solutionsLand use, zoning, permitting, and entitlementsProperty owners' associations and condominium associationsRelated Practice Areas (Helpful but not Required)Environmental matters affecting real estate transactions and developmentCorporate, trust, and estate mattersInterstate Land Sales Act and multi‑state property registration actsThe ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills; strong technology skills; close attention to detail; a client‑focused approach; and the ability to work well under pressure while producing consistent, high‑quality work.Although prior commercial real estate experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate who is interested in building a long‑term legal career in Wilmington.
