We are seeking a dynamic mid-level Associate Attorney to join a high-performing legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and construction law and be ready to make an immediate impact by providing legal counsel and support to a diverse client base. This role offers exposure to a broad range of matters, from complex construction disputes to general litigation, within a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Responsibilities
Provide legal counsel and support to clients within the construction industry.
Manage all phases of litigation, including case analysis, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategy and client matters.
Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to develop effective strategies for complex cases.
Stay current on legal developments related to construction law and general litigation.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior attorneys and legal support staff.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Minimum of 5 years of attorney experience, with a focus on litigation and construction law.
Active membership in good standing with the applicable State Bar.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Strong negotiation skills and experience drafting and interpreting legal documents.
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
High ethical standards and professionalism.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency with legal research platforms and legal technology tools.
