Job Details
We are seeking an Associate Litigation Attorney to join our Denver team, handling construction litigation and civil litigation matters.
Responsibilities:
Support a docket of commercial and residential construction litigation, mechanic's liens, and civil defense cases
Draft pleadings, written discovery, motions, and briefs with guidance from senior attorneys
Take and defend depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and experts
Prepare case evaluations, status reports, and budgets for clients and insurance carriers
Attend hearings, mediations, and arbitrations and assist with settlement efforts
Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness prep, and pretrial filings
Qualifications:
prior civil litigation experience required
Construction, insurance defense, or general civil defense experience preferred
JD with active and good standing Colorado bar
Strong legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast paced practice
