Our client is a premier and rapidly growing Texas family law firm seeking a talented Family Law Associate Attorney to join its high-performing legal team. What You'll Do


As a Family Law Associate Attorney, you will take ownership of a diverse caseload and advocate for clients through some of the most important moments of their lives.


Responsibilities

• Manage family law matters from intake through settlement or trial
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other legal documents
• Represent clients during hearings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
• Negotiate favorable settlements while advocating for clients' best interests
• Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the legal process
• Collaborate with partners, paralegals, and support staff to achieve successful outcomes

What We're Looking For


Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active Texas Bar license in good standing
• 3+ years of family law experience
• Experience handling hearings, mediations, and contested family law matters
• Strong legal writing, research, negotiation, and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and professional approach when working with clients facing sensitive family matters

Preferred Qualifications

• Trial experience in family law cases
• Experience with high-conflict custody disputes, divorce litigation, modifications, or enforcement actions
• Proven ability to independently manage a caseload
