Our client, a well‑established civil defense law firm in Denver, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1+ years of civil litigation experience to join its team. The associate will work on a variety of civil defense matters, which may include general civil litigation, insurance defense, professional liability, and other commercial or employment‑related disputes, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of civil litigation matters under the guidance of senior attorneys
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and correspondence
- Take and defend depositions and assist with expert discovery
- Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Assist with case strategy, evaluation, and trial preparation
