Associate Attorney – Family Law

Salary: $85,000–$110,000

What You'll Do

  • Represent clients in family law matters from intake through resolution.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances.
  • Provide compassionate legal counsel while building strong client relationships.
  • Develop case strategy and manage deadlines and documentation.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
  • Maintain accurate billing, timekeeping, and case management records.
  • Deliver high-quality legal representation with professionalism and integrity.

What You'll Need

  • Active Texas Bar license.
  • 1+ year of attorney experience (1–3 years preferred).
  • Family law experience preferred.
  • Strong legal writing, communication, and client counseling skills.
  • Experience using legal case management, billing, and timekeeping systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and professional judgment.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MyCase, Clio, or similar legal practice management software.
  • Litigation, mediation, or deposition experience.
  • Austin-area candidate.
  • Leadership, mentorship, or business development experience.
