Job Overview A law firm seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join its growing immigration practice in Irving, TX. This role is suitable for both entry-level and experienced attorneys, offering structured training, mentorship, and progressive responsibility. The Associate Attorney will provide legal representation in both affirmative and defensive immigration matters, managing a dedicated caseload and developing litigation and advocacy skills under the supervision of senior attorneys.Duties Provide legal representation and advocacy for clients before USCIS and EOIR.Manage a caseload of immigration matters, from routine to complex cases.Develop and implement legal strategies tailored to each client's situation.Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and motions.Appear as lead counsel at court and agency proceedings with increasing independence.Draft legal arguments, affidavits, motions, and responses to RFEs and NOIDs.Conduct legal research to support case strategy and litigation decisions.Stay current on changes in immigration law and relevant case law.Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex or high‑stakes matters.Mentor and guide paralegals and legal assistants on case preparation (required for Associate Attorney II).Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing.Interest or experience in immigration law, including USCIS and/or EOIR proceedings.Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team.Spanish fluency preferred, but not required.Prior experience mentoring support staff is a plus (required for Associate Attorney II).Benefits Medical – firm covers 100% of employee‑only premiums.Dental.Vision.Group Life Insurance.Voluntary Life Insurance up to 500,000.Voluntary Short‑Term Disability.Group Long‑Term Disability.Telemedicine for all employees and dependents.$75 monthly health/wellness reimbursement.Assistance/reimbursement of CLE/Bar dues and fees.#J-18808-Ljbffr
