Practice Group: General LiabilityPosition OverviewLydecker is seeking an associate attorney with 0-7 years of experience for its Doylestown PA or Jersey City office. The position is hybrid. The applicant should be admitted to practice in NJ. Dual admission is preferred. A driver's license is required. The firm provides extensive training to its new associates. Under the supervision of a partner, the associate will handle a variety of cases, including the defense of casualty, professional liability, and employment matters. This may be the opportunity for those with a strong work ethic who want to work in our northeast defense litigation practice group.This is a hybrid position for our Jersey City. Candidates that are currently clerking and able to start in the fall are welcomed to apply!Job RequirementsThis position requires a NJ and/or NY bar license in good standing.A minimum of JD from an ABA approved law school0-7 years of civil defense litigation experience, preferably in General liability, Labor and employment, property and causality or any insurance defense litigation.Previous experience should include working on up to 25+ cases at once, attending and defending depositions, taking depositions, appearance in court, motion and discovery drafting; mediation and trial experience a plus but not required.Computer skills: basic knowledge of computer operation, internet software, spreadsheet software and word processing software; the use of Microsoft products is preferred.
