Position Overview

Our client, a well-established, collegial general practice law firm in York County, Maine, is seeking a motivated, personable, and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have 2–6 years of litigation and/or transactional real estate experience. Additional experience in corporate law, estate planning, or related practice areas is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in a range of litigation matters, including legal research, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances
• Draft, review, and prepare pleadings, motions, memoranda, briefs, and other legal documents
• Assist with residential and commercial real estate transactions, including document preparation and closing support
• Support entity formation, contract drafting, and corporate governance matters
• Provide practical legal advice and responsive client service across multiple practice areas
• Manage multiple active matters and deadlines with appropriate independence and judgment
