What You'll Do

• Handle a variety of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft and respond to written discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Conduct legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
• Attend court hearings and assist with case strategy development
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys while developing increasing autonomy in your practice

Ideal Background

• 2+ years of civil litigation experience
• Experience in insurance defense, product liability, premises liability, medical malpractice, or related litigation matters preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience with law and motion practice and court appearances
• Active California Bar license and good standing
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
