Hooks, Meng & Clement (HMC) is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our growing Las Vegas Office. Our firm focuses on Industrial Insurance Litigation, representing employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators throughout Nevada.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to build litigation skills while working alongside experienced attorneys in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Associates are given meaningful responsibilities, direct client interaction, courtroom experience, and ongoing mentorship from the start.

Compensation:$100,000+ annually
Responsibilities:- Represent clients in court and before government agencies.
- Draft legal documents and correspondence, as well as conduct thorough legal research on each case.
- Strategize and plan with clients and cases, ensuring meticulous attention to detail in every case.
- Make sure that case files are up-to-date and organized by daily use of the electronic case management system, Filevine.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, not just representation.
- Pay attention to industry trends and developments, while staying informed on Nevada statutes and regulations.
- Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment and under multiple deadlines.
- Must be able to meet or exceed the monthly billing requirement while using electronic legal billing software, Clio.
Qualifications:- Member in good standing with the State Bar of Nevada.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Adaptable, flexible, reliable, and accountable in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team while also working independently.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Consistently demonstrates a high level of professionalism, energy, and performance.
- Must reside in Southern Nevada, as this is an in-office position.
