    Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney for its Glendale, California office. The role involves handling labor and employment matters, focusing on single-plaintiff and FEHA employment lawsuits. The position is on-site preferred, with no minimum billable hours required.Duties Handle FEHA and single-plaintiff employment actions from inception through conclusionConduct legal research and analysisDraft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and briefsAttend court hearings and trialsAssist in client meetings and consultationsManage caseloads and ensure deadlines are metCollaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal mattersMaintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standardsRequirements At least 1 year of in-court litigation and deposition-handling experience preferredWorking knowledge of law and motion briefing and argumentExperience in plaintiff or defense side employment law is a plusSuperior oral advocacy skills and confidenceGreat analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail, honesty, dependability, and computer savvyProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Email/Calendar, Adobe Acrobat, Apple Operating System, and other litigation softwareFluency in English (spoken & written); Spanish is a plusEducation Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law schoolCertifications Active California State Bar license, with no disciplinary historySkills Superior oral advocacy skills, Great analytical and critical thinking skills, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to work independently and as part of a team, Attention to detail, honesty, dependability, and computer savvyBenefits Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurancePaid time off and paid holidays401k after one year of employment#J-18808-Ljbffr
