This is a permanent position with an emphasis on General Liability, Commercial Litigation, Product Liability, Civil Litigation, Insurance Defense, and Civil Defense. The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter with excellent written and oral communication skills. The ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and function well in a fast-paced environment is key to success in this role. Job Details

Responsibilities:

As an Associate Attorney, you will:

1. Manage a full load of cases from inception through final resolution.
2. Draft, review, and argue motions, pleadings, and other court submissions.
3. Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare well-structured legal memoranda.
4. Handle all aspects of written discovery, including drafting, reviewing, and responding to discovery requests.
5. Actively participate in the development of case strategies and case management.
6. Represent clients in court appearances and effectively argue on their behalf.
7. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
8. Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide the highest level of service to clients.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, you must have:

1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. A current license to practice law in the state of California.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in General Liability, Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Product Liability, Civil Litigation, Insurance Defense, Civil Defense, Lemon Law, and Song-Beverly.
4. Proven experience with motion practice, pleadings, written discovery, and case management.
5. A strong understanding of court procedures and rules.
6. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
7. The ability to manage a high volume of cases and work effectively under pressure.
8. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and establish rapport with clients.
9. Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and high level of integrity.
