Associate Attorney

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal research, drafting, and litigation, with the opportunity to engage in moderate client interaction and occasional court appearances. This full-time position offers a collaborative environment and clear pathways for professional growth, including promotion to senior attorney.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research using resources such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts
• Provide litigation support and assist with case management
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, trials, and legal proceedings
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
• Perform occasional travel for court appearances and client meetings

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey
• Admission to the state bar association

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in legal practice
