Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Associate Attorney, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and overseeing a diverse caseload of business litigation matters, including contract disputes and employment litigation.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and arguing pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
  • Conducting comprehensive discovery processes, including depositions.
  • Engaging in rigorous case management, ensuring all cases are handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Providing expert client counseling, offering clear, concise, and practical advice.
  • Negotiating settlements, striving to secure the best possible outcome for our clients.
  • Staying abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may impact our clients and their businesses.
  • Collaborating with a team of talented legal professionals, contributing to team goals and firm-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the role of Permanent Associate Attorney, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience as an Associate Attorney, Litigation Attorney, or similar role.
  • Proven experience in business litigation, contract disputes, and employment litigation.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft and argue pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
  • Proficiency in conducting discovery processes, including depositions.
  • Strong case management skills, with the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, with a track record of successful settlement negotiations.
  • Proficient understanding of business torts.
  • Exceptional client counseling skills, with the ability to offer clear, concise, and practical advice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
  • A team player, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of legal professionals.
  • A commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
