Job Details

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Manage a civil litigation caseload from inception through resolution, including real estate, construction, HOA, business, and personal injury matters
  • Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other court documents
  • Conduct depositions, appear at hearings, and handle all phases of motion practice in Arizona state court
  • Represent clients at mediation, arbitration, and, when necessary, trial
  • Conduct legal research and produce clear, well-reasoned written analysis and memos
  • Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
  • Advise clients on litigation strategy, risk, and resolution options throughout the life of the matter
  • Collaborate with firm partners and staff on complex or high-stakes cases
  • Manage deadlines and case timelines across an active docket with minimal supervision

QUALIFICATIONS
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active, in-good-standing membership with the Arizona State Bar
  • Minimum 5 years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on Arizona state court practice
  • Experience or strong background in real estate litigation, construction disputes, contract claims, or business disputes
  • Proven ability to independently manage cases from filing through trial or resolution
  • Comfortable with all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, and hearings
  • Strong legal research and writing skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage a busy docket, prioritize competing deadlines, and work with a degree of autonomy
