About the job

Responsibilities:
  • Management and handling of assigned cases from start to finish including initial reports through to trial preparation and planning.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, pleadings and motions.
  • Draft and respond to discovery.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Prepare for and attend hearings and court appearances as needed.
  • Analyze claims and provide carrier with interpretive evaluation.
  • Draft detailed comprehensive status reports to carriers/clients.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4 years years of practice/California bar admission
  • Team player but has ability to work independently as well
  • Experience with Microsoft-based computer programs
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong experience with entering billing time and descriptions for all billable work
