Associate Attorney Real Estate / Unlawful Detainer Litigation

A litigation-focused law firm is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Litigation Attorney to join its team.

This is not a passive support role. The attorney will independently manage an active caseload, primarily involving real estate and unlawful detainer matters, with an expectation of strategic thinking, precise writing, and consistent case progression.

What You'll Do

• Independently manage a litigation caseload focused on real estate and unlawful detainer matters
• Evaluate risk, develop case strategy, and identify efficient paths to resolution
• Draft high-quality legal documents, including motions, briefs, discovery, and correspondence
• Conduct legal research and resolve substantive issues without heavy oversight
• Collaborate with a small, fast-moving team and proactively contribute to case development

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of California litigation experience
• Experience in real estate litigation and/or unlawful detainer matters preferred
• Active and in-good-standing membership with the California State Bar
• Strong attention to detail and consistently high work-product standards
• Ability to think both tactically and strategically across a matter lifecycle
• Self-motivated, receptive to feedback, and committed to client outcomes
• Professional, grounded demeanor suited to a collegial but high-expectation environment
