We are working with a boutique defense litigation firm in Seattle that is seeking Associate Attorneys to join the team! The firm focuses primarily within insurance defense law.

Location: Seattle, WA (onsite)
Base Salary: $100k-$165k/year + quarterly bonuses
Billable Hour Requirement: 1975/year

Job Details

The Associate Attorney will work directly with partners on complex matters, gain exposure to strategy and client interaction early on, and receive hands-on training designed to build long-term success.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with attorneys and team members on a wide range of insurance coverage and litigation matters.
  • Manage cases from start to finish, including drafting pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis of case law, statutes, regulations, policy language, and factual records.
  • Prepare and respond to discovery, review claims files and case documents, and analyze coverage issues.
  • Take and defend depositions; prepare for and attend mediations, hearings, and client or expert meetings.
  • Participate in trial preparation and contribute to case strategy and execution.
