Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tort Litigation Associate with at least 4 years of experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will enjoy significant autonomy over a diverse portfolio of high-value tort and personal injury matters, driving cases strategically from initial intake through trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse and active caseload of high-value personal injury and tort litigation matters.

• Conduct and defend depositions of parties, key witnesses, and expert witnesses.

• Draft and argue substantive motions, including motions for summary judgment (MSJs) and discovery motions.

• Collaborate closely with medical professionals and accident reconstruction experts to build compelling cases for liability and damages.

• Lead settlement negotiations and represent clients in mediations, hearings, and trial proceedings.

Qualified Candidates Will Possess

• 4+ years of dedicated litigation experience, specifically within tort law (plaintiff or defense).

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.

• Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills, with a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Deep familiarity with the Los Angeles Superior Court (LASC) system and the local Southern California legal community.

• A "trial-ready" mindset combined with strong negotiation and analytical skills.
