Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Associate Attorney (Trust and Estate), your responsibilities will include:

1. Drafting and reviewing a variety of legal documents including wills, trusts, power of attorney documents, and estate planning materials.
2. Providing expert legal counsel to clients on complex trust and estate matters.
3. Representing clients in court and before government agencies as required.
4. Collaborating with a team of attorneys and paralegals to ensure all legal matters are handled efficiently and effectively.
5. Staying updated on changes in trust and estate law to provide the most accurate and up-to-date advice to clients.
6. Conducting comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
7. Participating in business development activities to grow the firm's client base.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in trust and estate law, including experience with power of attorney, drafting, and estate planning.
3. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
4. Proven experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
8. Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and delivering high-quality legal services.
9. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
10. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
