Boutique litigation firm specializing in cutting-edge wage and hour and class action cases seeks an associate attorney with 2 to 5 years' experience to join our Boston-based, remote-first practice.Competitive salary based on experience, $130,000 to $150,000Immediate revenue share on cases you are assigned to handle, with significant additional earning potential401(k) employer contribution, whether or not you contributeGenerous employer reimbursement for medical insurancePaid time off, bar dues, malpractice insurance, and CLERemote work environment, with a downtown Boston office available for depositions and client meetingsCompensation:$130,000 - $150,000 yearlyResponsibilities:Litigate and manage cases with light supervisionCommunicate effectively with clients and prospective clientsAchieve and negotiate successful outcomes in court and with opposing counselMaintain strong ethics and professional responsibilityCommunicate in a friendly and considerate manner internallyQualifications:Massachusetts law license2 to 5 years of substantive litigation experience, ideally in employment lawExcellent written and oral advocacyStrong ethics, collegial attitude, and academic recordAbility to work efficiently and independently in a remote settingDesire to zealously litigate cases from the plaintiff's sideDemonstrated commitment to workers' rights or public interest work and spanish proficiency are plussesAbout CompanyFor more than 20 years, Ortiz & Moeslinger, P.C. has maintained a singular focus: litigating skillfully and aggressively on behalf of workers deprived of their earned wages and consumers harmed by abusive business practices.We bring cases under the Massachusetts Wage Act, Overtime Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, Prevailing Wage Law, and other statutes.
