Job Details

Handle civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
Assist with medical malpractice, automobile negligence, and general liability defense cases
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other legal documents
Participate in all phases of discovery
Take and defend depositions
Prepare cases for hearings, mediation, and trial
Analyze legal issues and develop case strategies
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to achieve favorable client outcomes
Maintain exceptional organization and case management practices
Provide high-quality client service while managing multiple priorities

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
2+ years of litigation experience
Experience in civil litigation, including depositions
Exceptional legal research and writing skills
Writing sample required
Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
Ability to manage significant responsibility and workload
Team-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
Strong academic credentials from a respected law school
Judicial clerkship experience preferred but not required
Active license and good standing to practice law
