Your responsibilities include:Case preparation & medical record review: Analyzing and summarizing medical records and case files to formulate effective case strategies.Courtroom advocacy: Drafting and arguing motions, attending hearings, and representing clients in court proceedings.Deposition practice: Preparing clients for and attending depositions of fact and expert witnesses.Report drafting & communication: Preparing initial, interim, and pre‑trial reports; maintaining open communication with clients throughout the case lifecycle.Discovery management: Responding to discovery requests, drafting discovery‑related motions, and ensuring full compliance with procedural rules.Client engagement: Building strong relationships with clients, managing expectations, and advising on case risks, strategy, and resolution paths.What You BringExperience: 1–10 years of experience in Workers' Compensation defense litigation preferred. Attorneys with litigation experience and a strong desire to transition into Workers' Compensation will also be considered.Legal knowledge & skills: Strong research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills. Excellent case organization, time management, and problem‑solving abilities.Licensure & education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA‑accredited law school.
