Work Schedule:
- Saturday and Sunday: 8am-4pm

About the Role
As an
Associate Therapist with our BHUC team, you will play a vital role in assessing and supporting individuals who present with urgent behavioral health and substance use needs. This position offers meaningful handson experience in a fastpaced, supportive environment with opportunities for growth toward full licensure.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to determine appropriate levels of care
- Complete interviews with individuals and families to identify presenting concerns, assess mental status, evaluate safety and risk, and gather relevant psychosocial history
- Develop accurate diagnoses that inform effective, personcentered interventions
- Support individuals and families in identifying next steps and goals
- Provide referrals and care coordination upon discharge, connecting individuals to community resources such as specialty providers, medical services, and social supports
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with confidentiality and compliance standards
*Candidates may reside in either Concord or Charlotte and will support BHUC services in both locations.*
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Masters degree in a Human Services-related field
- Active North Carolina associatelevel license:
LCSWA, LCMHCA, or LMFTA
- At least one year of experience providing crisis response or crisis management services
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one year of counseling or therapy experience
