Job Summary: The Associate Branch Manager supports the District Manager in overseeing the daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service. This role involves managing staff, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining operational efficiency.
 
Essential Functions:  
  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the branch.
  • Ensure the branch operates efficiently and complies with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer needs and resolving issues.
  • Handle complex customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Foster a customer-focused environment and train staff on best practices in customer service.
  • Lead the recruiting, training, and supervising of branch staff.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage and manage time-off requests.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support the District Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve branch targets.
  • Promote branch services and products to meet customer needs.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in organizing and participating in community events and marketing activities.

Supervisory Responsibilities: 
  • May direct the work of clerical or operational employees in lower job classifications.
  • May assist in training newly hired coordinators and other rental branch staff.
 
Work Environment:  
  • This job operates in a professional office setting. 
  • This role routinely uses standard equipment. 

Physical Demands: 
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  
Required Education/Experience/Certifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an administrative role.
