Position: Associate Business Process Analyst
Location: Richmond, VA (3 days onsite)
Duration: 12 months
Job ID: 176938

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated professional to support the Distribution Asset Management team, with a primary focus on preventative maintenance programs, specifically the padmount transformer inspection program. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is looking to grow their analytical, technical, and operational skills in a structured, team-oriented environment. The position involves reviewing inspection data, validating asset information, and ensuring accuracy across reports and systems. Over time, the successful candidate will take on more complex assignments and expand their knowledge of asset management processes and tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate inspection reports for accuracy, ensuring alignment between reported data, photos, and asset records (e.g., verifying correct addresses, grid locations, and asset details).
  • Support the administration and tracking of preventative maintenance programs, including transformer inspection activities.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in inspection reports by coordinating with field inspectors and internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate regularly with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely resolution of issues and continuous workflow.
  • Assist in managing and updating data within SAP and related systems.
  • Utilize tools such as Excel and Power BI to review, track, and report on maintenance program performance.
  • Maintain organized documentation and ensure compliance with established processes and data quality standards.
  • Provide general support across additional preventative maintenance programs as needed.
Qualifications:
  • 2-3+ years of hands-on experience in a Business Process Analyst role.
  • Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalency; Associates Degree in Business Analytics or Certification preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset, with the ability to review data and identify inconsistencies.
  • Effective communication skills, including writing clear and professional emails to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on issue resolution in a timely manner.
  • Comfortable working within structured processes and evolving responsibilities.
  • Experience working with SAP or similar asset management systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with Power BI (report consumption and basic analysis; not a developer role) preferred.
  • Experience supporting data validation, inspections, or maintenance programs preferred.
