Position SummaryGeneral Atlantic's Capital Solutions team is focused on marketing the firm's global investment strategies to institutional and private wealth investors worldwide. The Capital Solutions team manages all aspects of client coverage and the fundraising process by building relationships with both current and prospective investors.General Atlantic is looking for a high-caliber Associate to join its Private Wealth Capital Solutions team based in New York to support financial advisor client coverage across an assigned U.S. region. The Client Coverage Associate will work in close partnership with regional Client Coverage leads, covering financial advisors across both private bank and wirehouse wealth management platforms, providing proactive sales and client service support to drive fundraising and deepen relationships advisor across General Atlantic's Growth Equity, Climate, Infrastructure and Credit strategies in their assigned region. The candidate will work closely with senior members of General Atlantic's global Capital Solutions team, while collaborating with professionals across the firm to design and execute scaled fundraising, financial advisor engagement, and client service initiatives across the private wealth channel.ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will have a diverse set of client coverage and fundraising responsibilities, including:Partner with Private Wealth Client Coverage regional leads to develop new, foster, and maintain relationships with financial advisors at leading private wealth management platforms (e.g., private banks and wirehouses), supporting fundraising across General Atlantic's product suiteExecute proactive outbound sales activity to both existing and prospective financial advisor allocators to educate them on General Atlantic's strategies and drive new fundraising opportunitiesAssist in the management of territory coverage and financial advisor sales pipeline in a highly organized and data‑driven manner, leveraging analytics to prioritize engagements, track progress, and optimize marketing efforts within assigned regionsConduct timely and detailed follow‑up after advisor and client interactions, ensuring delivery of tailored materials and responses to information requestsMaintain accurate, high‑quality CRM records of contacts, activities, meeting notes, and pipeline as well as assist in the preparation of regular reports on financial advisor engagement, territory activity, and fundraising progress for Capital Solutions leadershipDevelop and maintain deep product and market expertise across General Atlantic's investment capabilities and structures (including both private funds and evergreen vehicles), while communicating complex private markets and alternative investment concepts in a clear, concise manner to financial advisors and their end clientsEffectively coordinate across internal teams and wealth platform partners to help organize roadshows, webinars, conferences, and advisor education events; managing planning, logistics, materials, and follow‑up to maximize financial advisor participation and engagementBuild and sustain ongoing connectivity with financial advisors through consistent phone and email touchpoints, helping to deepen relationships, address client service inquiries, and support product update and review calls in partnership with senior client coverageQualificationsBachelor's degree required; progress toward CFA and/or CAIA charters preferredMinimum 2+ years of investment product sales experience working with financial advisors at leading wealth management firms (wirehouses, private banks, RIAs or independent broker-dealers), ideally with experience in private market, alternative investment strategies and productsStrong understanding of financial markets and investment strategies, including familiarity with private market alternative asset classes and both private and evergreen fund structures (e.g., private funds, interval funds, BDCs, REITs, evergreen structures)Excellent communication skills: presentation, written and interpersonal, with the professionalism and presence to represent General Atlantic and its capabilities to financial advisors and their end clientsStrong organizational skills, high attention to detail and strong work ethicHighly motivated with ability to work independently, set priorities and meet deadline and fundraising goalsAbility to work in a team-oriented sales environment with a collaborative and transparent mindsetGA ValueCompetitive compensationComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plansRetirement savings plan with employer matchingProfessional development opportunities and ongoing trainingCollaborative and inclusive work culture with opportunities for advancementGeneral Atlantic offers a robust reward program to all employees that will support you and your family, maintaining fulfilling, secure and healthy lives now and into the future, which includes but is not limited to medical insurance, retirement savings contributions, mental and physical health resources and an equal pay program that allows you to earn a base salary of $135,000 - 155,000 of which the exact amount offered will be driven by the degree to which you meet role requirements, additional special skills and experience.
