    About the Role:
    Ngegha Beginner Childcare Provider is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Associate Caregiver to join our growing team in Washington, DC. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children during their most formative years.     Responsibilities:
    • Provide attentive, hands-on care and supervision for children in a safe and nurturing environment
    • Support daily routines including feeding, nap time, hygiene, and age-appropriate activities
    • Plan and assist with developmentally appropriate play and learning activities
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and child-safe environment at all times
    • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily updates
    • Monitor children's behavior and emotional well-being, reporting any concerns to supervisors
    • Follow all childcare policies, safety protocols, and licensing regulations
    Requirements:
    • Previous experience in childcare, early childhood education, or a related caregiving role preferred
    • Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and families
    • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
    • Ability to pass a background check in compliance with DC childcare regulations
    • Patient, reliable, and adaptable with a team-oriented attitude
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in child development is a plus
    • CDA (child development associate) OR associate degree)/BA (bachelor's degree) in Education
