Seeking an Associate Chemist to join the Mass Spectrometry team in Burlington, NC, with a Thursday-Sunday, 10:00pm-8:30am schedule.
Responsibilities include reviewing and certifying LC/MS data, verifying calibration and quality controls, maintaining and troubleshooting analytical instruments, conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses, and assisting with method development and staff training.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological Science or related field, with 2+ years of lab testing experience or an MLS degree.
Preferred qualifications: 3+ months of clinical testing experience, certification (ASCP or AMT), and proficiency with lab systems.
Candidate should demonstrate technical proficiency, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Flexibility for overtime and shift changes is required.
