Associate Claims Specialist

Payrate: $33.00 - $33.75/hr.
 
Summary
This role involves managing and processing vendor invoices to ensure compliance with Company standards, coordinating with financial operations and project managers, and supporting financial data management and reporting.
 
Responsibilities

• Receive and validate vendor invoices to ensure they meet Company compliance standards.
• Process invoices received through email.
• Collaborate with HA Financial Operations and Project Managers to ensure invoicing follows SOW/PO payment schedule.
• Work with Project Managers to verify work is performed according to the scope of work.
• Create and monitor "Payment Requests" within the Company accounts payable system.
• Manage and update the pending invoice list to ensure timely processing or rejection within 30 days of receipt.
• Run and reconcile the daily EO Report with HA EO report data.
• Provide support for other financial data needs and ad-hoc projects for the department and other departments.
• Act as a backup for FOC submission and data entry for sample requests.

 
Qualifications

• Proficiency in Business Analysis, English, and Financial Analysis.
• Experience in financial operations, accounts payable, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to validate compliance with standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

 
Skills

• Strong organizational skills to manage and update pending invoice lists.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Experience with financial data management and reporting.
• Proficiency in using accounts payable systems and tools.

 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $33.00 - $33.75/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
