Act as the process leader for assignedshift. Define and improve work standards with input from technicians and the team. Lead, coach, and develop a highly engaged team
Ensure work standards are current andaccurate. Monitor employees to ensure they follow safety regulations and the collision center's safety program
Work with employees to resolve technical and personnel issues. Schedule staff to meet facility needs and allow for vacations and time off according to company policies
Select team members and ensure they receiverequiredtraining. Hold regular one-on-one development meetings to support their professional growth and career advancement. Monitor training needs for the team and individuals, and coordinate training with training team resources as needed
Provide effective daily communication to align all team members on goals. Share any issues that affect the facility or the overall organization
Partner with theCollisionManager to scale and grow shop production to meet companytargets,andwork collaboratively with key partners.Perform otherduties asassigned by the Collision Manager to support the business
1-5+ years of experience leading a collision center, refurbishment center, service center, or similar operation
5-10+ years of collision technical experience or aptitude preferred
Ability to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality and quantity. Able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, set and achieve goals, lead group root-cause problem-solving, and develop quick countermeasures
Able to interact effectively with customers as needed
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office and understanding of repair estimates
Valid driver's license preferred
