Job Title: Associate Consultant, Structural Engineer
Location: 1001 4th Ave, Suite 3100, Seattle, WA 98154
Duties: Independently perform and supervise structural analysis, design, and assessment of building structures. Lead development of plans and specifications in accordance with client requirements. Knowledgeable in design with all major construction materials. Supervise and assist in preparation of drawings in REVIT. Independently prepare basis of designs, detailed design calculations, technical reports, and assessment reports. Understand interdisciplinary requirements for building projects and be capable of performing QA/QC reviews. Attend client meetings and perform site visits. Assist with inspection and design which requires work both in field and office settings. Salary $100,984.00/year. Standard corporate benefits. EOE.
Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related plus 3 years of experience as a Structural Engineer, Design Engineer or related. Experience must include: Deliver seismic and wind design structural analysis and design solutions for systems involving reinforced & post-tensioned concrete, wood and structural steel using programs such as ETABS, SAP2000, RAM Concept, SAFE & RISA 3D. Prepare design calculation packages, structural member takedown and formulate structural reports in accordance with relevant building codes. Perform shop drawing reviews, response to RFIs, and site observations. Develop structural drawings, details and sections as final deliverables through REVIT & AUTOCAD. Coordinate BIM workflow.
