Job Title: Corporate History Associate
Location: Orem, Utah (on-site)
Hours: 1520 hours per week
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and intrinsically motivated Corporate History Associate to support our ongoing efforts to preserve, manage, and share the history of our organization. This part-time, on-site role is ideal for someone who values meaningful work, enjoys archival processes, and takes genuine satisfaction in steady progress and completed tasks.
Schedule & Availability:
- Hours are flexible, provided they are worked between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Flexibility is paired with consistency: this role requires reliable availability to complete up to 20 hours per week and meet weekly production goals on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Digitize and archive a minimum of 50 pages of documents per week, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and proper metadata.
- Digitize and archive a minimum of 10 historical photographs per week, following established archival standards.
- Add to and maintain the master project list, logging new historical information, materials, and leads as they are received.
- Use ArchivEra software (training provided) to catalog, organize, and manage digital records.
- Participate in weekly check-ins with the supervisor to review progress, align priorities, and plan upcoming work.
Qualifications & Attributes:
- Demonstrated ability to work productively and independently; the right candidate takes real delight in getting things done and moving projects forward.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and follow-through.
- Comfortable learning and using new software tools, including ArchivEra.
- Highly organized, with the discipline to meet minimum weekly output expectations consistently.
- Interest in corporate history, archives, libraries, museum studies, or historical research (preferred but not required).
