Job Title: Associate Data Analyst


Location: Reston, VA or Remote East Coast (USA)


About This Role:


This role will be responsible for working directly with clients to onboard their digital data into Comscore platforms and production processes, through either standardized Comscore-managed measurement solutions or direct partnerships with clients. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, optimize performance, and deliver actionable insights. A strong technical background is required, along with a keen eye for detail and a passion for solving complex problems.


What You’ll Do:


+ Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions.

+ Read, understand, and analyze code written in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, Objective-C/Swift.

+ Write, optimize, and manage complex SQL queries to interact with relational databases (RDBMS). Ensure data integrity and performance optimization.

+ Utilize network sniffing tools like Charles Network Proxy, Wireshark, etc., to monitor and analyze network traffic.

+ Create data visualizations, charts, and graphs to present insights clearly to stakeholders.

+ Understand and utilize the existing automation tools to streamline and automate repetitive tasks.

+ Understand client queries, diagnose issues, and provide appropriate solutions with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

+ Work effectively in a team environment, sharing knowledge and learning from peers.

+ Be adaptable to new technologies and changes in the work environment, including working independently.


What You’ll Need


+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or analytically oriented field.

+ Proficiency in Java, Python, or similar programming languages.

+ Strong SQL skills with a solid understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS).

+ Experience with network sniffing tools like Charles Network Proxy, Wireshark, etc.

+ Strong analytical skills with a knack for solving complex problems.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

+ Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tools, technologies, and changing business requirements.

+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to collective goals.

+ Familiarity with Microsoft PowerBI and Microsoft PowerAutomate is a plus.

+ Compensation: $70,000.00 - 75,000.00 Salary; Commensurate with experience.
