The Associate Dentist is responsible for delivering high-quality dental care to patients, diagnosing oral health issues, and performing a wide range of dental procedures. The role focuses on patient treatment, preventive care, and maintaining excellent patient relationships within the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine patients’ teeth, gums, and oral tissues to diagnose conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Perform general dental procedures, including:
- Fillings, crowns, and bridges,implants
- Root canal treatments
- Tooth extractions, surgical extractions
- Preventive care (cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
- Use dental instruments and technology safely and effectively
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff
- Stay updated with advancements in dentistry and continuing education
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
- Valid dental license in the illinos
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment
