Position: Associate Dentist
We are currently seeking an Associate Dentist looking for a 3 day a week opportunity possibly leading to 4 days. As an Associate Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients while working closely with our team of experienced dentists and support staff.
This is a 10 operatory practice that is FFS/PPO with approx. 5 % Medicaid.
Monday - Thursday with 1/2 day every other Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and complex dental procedures, including but not limited to fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns
- Diagnose and treat various dental conditions and provide appropriate treatment plans to patients
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care techniques
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure the best possible treatment for patients
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry through continuing education courses and training
- Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty to the practice
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- State dental license in good standing
- Open to new graduates with mentoring available.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
