Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough oral examinations and assessments to identify dental issues
  • Create and execute individualized treatment plans for patients
  • Carry out a variety of procedures, such as fillings, cleanings, extractions, and root canals
  • Instruct patients on effective oral hygiene practices and aftercare
  • Prescribe medications as necessary for patient care
  • Maintain precise and confidential patient records, including X-rays and treatment histories
  • Refer patients to specialists (e.g., orthodontists or oral surgeons) for advanced treatments
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and infection control protocols
Qualifications
  • DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental institution
  • Active, unrestricted dental license in the state or in the process of obtaining one upon graduation
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • DEA certification
  • NPI number
