    Description

    Associate Dentist to Practice Owner

    Overview

Our recruiting firm has been retained by an innovative, doctor-centric dental group to identify entrepreneurial dentists looking to transition out of corporate dentistry or jumpstart their path to private ownership.

If you are tired of corporate quotas, limited upside, and feeling like a cog in the machine, this opportunity offers a disruptive business model. Designed by a seasoned dental industry executive, this platform combines the freedom and profitability of private practice ownership with the safety, support, and financial backing of a collaborative group.

    Key Highlights

    • Direct Path to Practice Ownership: Transition smoothly from Associate to 100% Practice Owner with zero gap in pay.
    • Built-in $400K+ Revenue Engine: The group integrates a turnkey, in-house model directly into your office. This proven component boosts average practice top-line up to $1.0M–$1.2M+ annually.
    • Comprehensive Operational & Clinical Support: Receive full backend support, site selection assistance, vendor discounts, build-out management, and ongoing clinical mentorship.
    • True Clinical Autonomy: Prioritize high-quality patient care without rigid corporate mandates, product push, or artificial volume quotas.

    Responsibilities

    • Clinical Excellence & Patient Care: Deliver high-quality, comprehensive general dental care while maintaining full clinical autonomy over diagnosis and treatment planning.
    • Practice Leadership & Operations: Drive the daily clinical operations of the practice, leading dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff to build a patient-centered culture.
    • Ownership Preparation & Business Learning: Master backend practice management during the associate phase—including P&L management, key performance metrics, and vendor operations—to ensure a seamless transition to practice owner.
    • Patient Engagement & Community Growth: Build strong patient relationships, drive local practice reputation, and foster patient loyalty to grow active patient counts and practice value.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Education: DDS or DMD degree from an accredited U.S. dental school.
    • Licensure: Active state dental license in good standing (or eligible for licensure), plus current DEA registration.
    • Skillset & Mindset:
      • Strong clinical baseline with a commitment to continuous learning and mentorship.
      • Entrepreneurial spirit, strong communication skills, and a desire to build long-term personal and equity wealth.
