Our team is a diverse and nimble group that manages Apple's retail stores, workplaces, and workplace services. We develop and manage Apple's global real estate portfolio, lead all related capital construction projects, provide outstanding facilities and site services, develop and lead sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of all Apple facilities, including commute and renewable energy programs, and do everything we can to ensure the health and safety of all Apple personnel, facilities, and customers in our facilities around the world. **Description** The Development Manager will be responsible for retail store projects and will report to the Development Lead. A successful Associate Development Manager will: **Minimum Qualifications** + 5 to 8+ years of construction/project management experience with a demonstrated focus in delivering outstanding retail stores or workplaces. + Experience managing mid-sized developments, tenant improvements, and MEP replacement projects, with exposure to larger retail store expansions, ground-up construction, or multi-tenant buildings. + Strong background in commercial construction to include mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems. + Minimum 20% travel may be required **Preferred Qualifications** + Expertise in the planning, scheduling, budgeting, resourcing, and executing of all technical services required to maintain and improve a real estate portfolio. + Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to balance priorities and meet deadlines as required to meet project schedule. + Ability to balance the trade-offs between operational risk and investment, constantly seeking the highest quality and design at the best value. + Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills, including experience working with various levels of an organization. + Experience building and maintaining relationships with facility operation teams, utility companies, architectural and design firms, general contracting firms, and landlords. + Industry experience in the technology or consumer retail space. + Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or Architecture preferred.
