  • Works with the Director and Leadership to develop, track and report on Project Narrative deliverables throughout the lifespan of assigned projects.
  • Ensures that all work products and deliverables are completed in a timely manner and meet or exceed quality standards for CDP and are in line with the needed quality standards for the client and partners. Ensures all curriculum developed is fully informed by current research, clinical practice guidelines, and standards of care.
  • Will also serve in a SME role within CDP, which will include developing and delivering workshops for military and civilian behavioral health providers. Subject matter expertise in Military Mental Health includes the ability to integrate the best available research with clinical expertise in the context of patient characteristics, such that the candidate is able to provide training and consultation that is empirically sound and accessible across a wide variety of contexts.
  • Meets USU, HJF, and all other regulatory-related requirements by ensuring that all communications with internal and external partners are conducted in a timely and effective manner.
  • The AD will represent CDP in meetings with external stakeholders and with relevant contract partners on a regular basis, providing accurate briefings and updates on contract timelines and work products.
  • May include budgetary responsibility to include planning/forecasting and assisting in preparation.
  • Prepares scholarly manuscripts for publication and presents at national and/or international conferences in order to disseminate the work conducted by the Consortium
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. This may include attendance of and participation in required training for the role.

HJF is seeking an Associate Director - Clinical Research to assist with activities related to The Consortium Deployment Psychology's mission. CDP's mission is to lead the development of a community of military culturally mindful and clinically competent providers through the delivery of high-quality training and education, the convening of experts, and the dissemination of research-based treatment and the latest topics in military behavioral health.

This position will be in support of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences' Consortium for Defense Psychology (CDP), which is based in Bethesda, MD. The Henry M. Jackson Foundation (HJF) provides administrative and management support to the Consortium. CDP strives to be the central hub for the Military Health System (MHS) in the development and implementation of training and education to clinicians in order to ensure that all service members, veterans, and their families receive quality behavioral healthcare that meets their unique needs.
