You can be a key part of the team that is driving and implementing Digital strategy for the QC area, enabling laboratories to perform their work more efficiently through modern laboratory solutions, data-driven decision making and digital innovation. Based on language used in the previous QCIT Associate Director role description.The Associate Director - Digital QC Solutions & Analytics will join the Quality IT Global Team and be responsible for supporting delivery, operations and continuous improvement of QC digital solutions while driving adoption of data and analytics capabilities across Quality Control laboratories.In this role, you will combine deep Quality Control process knowledge with strong understanding of laboratory systems, data and digital technologies to deliver business value through both operational excellence and digital transformation.
About the Role
#LI-Hybrid Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and support one or more strategic Digital QC platforms and application capabilities.Act as system owner, business partner or solution lead for QC applications supporting laboratory operations.Drive delivery and implementation of new QC digital capabilities in alignment with business priorities.Partner with Quality Control stakeholders to understand operational challenges and translate them into system, data and analytics solutions. Identify, shape and prioritize technology enhancements across Digital QC capabilities.Support development of reporting, analytics and data-driven decision making capabilities across QC.Collaborate with platform teams and data engineering teams to enable scalable data foundations and analytics use cases.Ensure activities are aligned with global standards for architecture, cybersecurity, validation, data integrity and GxP compliance.Manage vendors providing services in the QCIT area and monitor vendor performance.Address escalations and drive resolution in collaboration with business and IT partners. Support future Digital QC strategy and long-term roadmap for Quality Control and AS&T.Proactively identify opportunities to leverage automation, analytics and AI technologies to improve laboratory operations.Essential Requirement:8+ years of experience within Quality Control, Quality IT or related Digital Quality functions.Strong understanding of Quality Control laboratory operations. Laboratory informatics platformsData integrity and GxP complianceLaboratory data models and reportingDigital transformation within regulated environmentsExperience with one or more QC technology platforms such as: Empower, LabWare LIMS , LabX, MODA, TetraScience, NETLabLaboratory integrations and analytics platformsDesirable Requirement :Bachelor''s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.Experience supporting, implementing or owning laboratory applications while simultaneously driving business process improvements, reporting capabilities, analytics solutions or digital transformation initiatives.Commitment to Diversity & InclusionWe are committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.
