Financial Aid Systems Administrator
Position Summary
The Financial Aid Systems Administrator serves as the functional lead for Student Financial Aid within the Banner Student Information System (SIS). This position manages the automation, development, maintenance, testing, and implementation of financial aid system processes and serves as the primary liaison between the Office of Financial Aid, University IT, system programmers, and external vendors. The incumbent supports financial aid operations through systems administration, data analysis, process improvement, compliance oversight, and staff training.

Minimum Qualifications
Required qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; and at least five (5) years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in business administration, student personnel services, information technology, or a related area.
Experience of leadership skills working with professional and office support staff, excellent
organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, interacting
professionally with diverse personalities and excellent verbal and written communication skills are requested.
The successful candidate should demonstrate a strong working knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations, strong interpersonal presentation skills; self-starter; able to work with minimum supervision when required; strong attention to detail; exceptional customer service and interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation); knowledge of Banner, Slate, Argos or other related reporting tools and the Microsoft Office Suite a strong plus.
