We serve as a vital cultural hub, offering contemporary art exhibitions, historical displays, and community programming.MJM is currently experiencing a period of historic, transformative growth. Over the last three years, our community support has nearly quadrupled, elevating our annual operating revenue to over $800,000. Currently, over 90% of the Museum's revenue is derived from annual giving, grants, and a growing individual major donor base.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a senior, relationship-driven fundraiser to help build and lead the Maine Jewish Museum's major gifts program during a period of rapid growth.This newly created role is designed as a strategic partner to the Executive Director. The Associate Director of Development will focus primarily on identifying, cultivating, and soliciting major donors while building the systems that support a sustainable fundraising pipeline.This is not an administrative role — the majority of time will be spent meeting donors and developing relationships in the Greater Portland area.This position is part-time (20 hours/week) and primarily remote, with regular in-person donor meetings and occasional evening/weekend events.Qualifications5+ years of nonprofit development experienceProven track record closing $10K+ giftsExperience managing or implementing a CRMStrong communication and relationship-building skillsSelf-directed and comfortable working in a flexible, part-time role#J-18808-Ljbffr
