Overview
The Associate Director is responsible for directing and assisting in the development of goals and activities within an administrative office, encompassing areas such as program development, student and faculty services, academic affairs, and grants management. This role involves implementing strategies to enhance community engagement, participant recruitment, data analytics, and fostering a culture of constructive dialogue. The Associate Director collaborates with various stakeholders to develop and implement innovative strategies, ensuring operational efficiency, high-quality service, and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include managing projects, overseeing interdisciplinary teams, and supporting leadership in decision-making processes.
Required Skills and Abilities
Strong leadership and project management skills with experience in supervising and managing teams.
Proficiency in data systems and technical solutions, including advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data visualization tools.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse stakeholders.
Ability to analyze data, drive decision-making, and adjust strategies based on metrics.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
Master's degree in a relevant field such as Public Health, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration.
Experience with project management tools, electronic data capture systems, and understanding of regulatory standards.
Proven track record in participant recruitment and community engagement in clinical research.
Certification in relevant areas such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Clinical Data Management.
Experience in developing and delivering training programs and workshops for diverse audiences, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
